The true harvest of life is intangible...it is in the tints of the morning and evening...it is in the stardust caught...a segment of the rainbow.

TWO NEW FLAG BOOKS

SHABBY SHUTTERS AND DUSTY CONCORD DISTRESS INK BACKGROUNDS

BROKEN CHINA AND WILD HONEY DISTRESS INK BACKGROUNDS

On Thursday this week, I am teaching "Flag Books" to a class and so I've been very busily making an extra couple of quite different samples to inspire the girls in the class. I have also made small Flag Books in the past, but this size would be perfect as a gift for a friend, a special birthday or a wedding, it is 6" x 8". It was shown to me by Janice Keene in Brisbane at the Stamping Marathon a couple of years ago. I am using one as my gift on the One World One Heart post, pictures of this one are a couple of posts down. In case you can't already guess, I LOVE those Distress Ink backgrounds.

Love them both Rob, and I'm sure the girls in your class will be thrilled with them too.

Hi Rob What wonderful creative Tag books. It is interesting that I have been stepping backl in time to old and long forgotten ways of stamping and I guess they will like the Tags become fashioable with the "new kids" on the block in a manner of speaking. Very beautiful work to inspire anyone. Thansk and Chow Mary still flood bound on our farm at Kerang Victoria.

These are both stunning. You almost inspire me to go and try to make one myself but time does not allow at the moment. Thanks heaps for sharing. I have saved yours for later inspiration. LOL

Hi There Rob; my computers are finally back in action after a two week blackout, so this is my first visit. My Flag Book is at a stand still; waiting for the Distress Inks to come in at Alita's. Great to see the Flag Book pics on your blog. Will see you again soon...thanks for the great class!
Hugs..Judith
