Oh Rob, I am never disappointed when I visit your blog! Gorgeous gorgeous work always! So happy to see that you are right back into your creating. And thank you for visiting my blog - it makes me so happy when I see comments! Many hugs!!
Gosh Rob you have done a wonderful job of Isa's G challenge. That Geisha stamp - you do such lovely things with it and always everything is so different. The piece of lace makes the whole composition sooo rich, in my humble opinion. Rob did you dye the piece of lace to match the colour scheme as it is such a good match? Thanks for all your wonderul inspirations you give us by sharing them on your topnotch blog ... Bethel
Thanks everywone for the lovely comments, I am really grateful for your encouragement.
Bethel, I did colour the lace with adirondak dye ink spreay, not certain of exactly what colours I used, but I know I just sprayed until I got the colour I wanted, Cranberry was definately one of the, I love, love, love that colour. Rob
Being creative has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, it is food for my spirit. I am never happier than when I am thinking about my next creation, working on it and getting lost in the creative process, through to the joy of being happy with the completed piece of art. I have been engrossed with so many different media, each one adding another dimension to my life and my art. I really love to try anything new that sparks my interest. When I can't make art, I am constantly thinking about it, I just need to be better at tearing myself away from the everyday, to lose myself in my studio, BUT I'M WORKING ON IT!! I feel so blessed by the wonderful friends that I have made through my art, they do so much to sustain me every day. I live on a beautiful 5 acre property in the mountains on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

I love this card - the background is super, and the lace used discreetly. Bravo.
