The true harvest of life is intangible...it is in the tints of the morning and evening...it is in the stardust caught...a segment of the rainbow.

ART JOURNAL ROUND ROBIN

I am taking part in an Art Journal Round Robin and this is the double page spread I've done in Niki's "Birdsong" book.  I have used the theme of Bellbirds and used the first verse of the poem of the same name written by Henry Lawson around the outside edges of the spread starting at the bottom left hand corner clockwise.  It is a much loved poem that I'm sure every Australian child has learned in primary school.

I so love your Bellbirds. We have many of them up here in the northern rivers.

As with all the things I see you doing at our paper-craft class - lovely techniques, textures and colours.
