The true harvest of life is is in the tints of the morning and is in the stardust caught...a segment of the rainbow.

Here's wishing you and your loved ones every happiness for the New Year ahead, may you have health and happiness in abundance.

We are leaving on a 15 hour road trip to visit one of my daughters and her family, so I spent today making her a bag to take along with me (a belated Christmas present).
Although the photo doesn't show it all that well, it is purple velvet (I always seems to have a problem capturing purple the way it really looks) also lined with purple with an inside pocket, and on the outside, where the lace doily is, another pocket for her mobile phone, car keys etc. Hope that she likes it.

Blessings all,

Hi sweet Rob,

Wishing you a very safe trip and wonderful time with your daughter and her family. Hope your New Year sparkles with as much joy and beauty as the amazing creations you share here all the time.

Thank you very much for starting to follow my scrapbooking blog, too (it's much newer than Chronically Vintage, having just been started this past August). While today will mark the last day of consistently daily posts, please fear not, just as prior to 2011, CV will be going strong and posts will continue to appear as frequently as I can write them.

I truly appreciate your support of both of my blogs (as well as you kind words about my Christmas cards, which all went out to friends and family this year), and look forward to connecting with you in 2011.

Tons of hugs & joyful New Year's wishes!!!

What's not to love about purple velvet and lace doileys? I'll bet your daughter loves the bag.
I like your tea cup pin cushion too, I have a similar one myself.
It was super to meet you today, I hope we can stay in touch.
