The true harvest of life is intangible...it is in the tints of the morning and evening...it is in the stardust caught...a segment of the rainbow.

SYDNEY PAPERCRAFTS FESTIVAL

This is the journal that I did in Celine Navarro's class. Just a practice one so that I remember the process, I have made a couple more since I did this class.
My report on the Festival and the class is below.

I am heading out tomorrow morning to spend a few days in Sydney with my friend Chris. We are going to the Sydney Papercrafts Festival over the weekend, and meeting up with other stampers/artists for lunch on Friday and again, having dinner together on Saturday night. I spent the day yesterday making some ATCs to trade with others at the Festival. Will come back and give a report on my purchases after the weekend.
MY REPORT ON THE WEEKEND:

Well, I had a wonderful time staying with my friend Chris and her family in Sydney. We went off to the Festival on Friday and did some serious shopping, what fun!

We met up with several of the girls that we have got to know on some of our internet groups for lunch, then on to more shopping after taking a couple of loads of parcels to the car. Chris, Jessie and I came back again for a class on Saturday morning called "I Love" with Celine Navarro from France. She was a very lovely girl and we had an enjoyable morning making (or starting) a journal. We ran out of time to finish, but did finish the covers which were metal embossing which we aged when we fininshed, the end result was very nice. Then of course, a little more shopping before going back to Chris' place to get ready for our planned dinner. We met up with 25 of the girls from the internet lists, plus several of the traders from the show for dinner at an Italian restaurant and had a great night. The very generous traders all donated lovely products and everyone went home with a prize, so we were all very happy with that. On Sunday morning, Chris and I both decided that we needed to go back again (which was helped by the fact that she only lives 20 minutes from the venue) because there were still a couple of things that we wanted, plus we wanted to meet up with a couple of the girls who were only able to go on Sunday. So we had coffee with a few of the girls again and more shopping.......and talking........and much fun was had by all. What a great weekend it was. Thanks Chris and Jessie for your lovely company.
